22nd June – 5th July 2016 (will be re-run in 2018)
FULLY BOOKED – SEE BELOW
Join us on this 14-day adventure, travelling through the Arctic around the archipelago of Svalbard. We will travel by ship and explore the coast, attempting to circumnavigate the islands if ice conditions allow. We will be photographing a broad range of landscapes (including glaciers, mountains, icebergs, tundra, and even deserts) but the drawcard for most photographers is the wildlife. Polar bears, reindeer, foxes, walrus and other seals, whales, auks, puffins, and many many more.
We will have 18 photographers on this expedition, being led by two professional nature photographers and tutors: David Burren and Michael Snedic. Photographers of all experience levels are welcome. David and Michael will be guiding you and supporting your photography during the expedition. Not just in taking photographs in the field, but also in reviewing and refining your photos along the way using software such as Lightroom.
The viewer below can be used to page through (and download) the PDF brochure which has all the trip details.
This workshop will be repeated in June 2018. To register your interest and receive early notification as details progress, please register your interest here.
