On the weekend of November 5th/6th this year I’m conducting a nature photography + Lightroom weekend workshop in Brisbane, again in partnership with my friend Michael Snedic.
We will start out covering photography techniques and practice in a workshop at Australia Zoo, and then we spend all of the Sunday working with Adobe Lightroom (using your own laptops). The two sessions are designed to go together, and are booked as a weekend workshop. The class size has been capped at 10 so that everyone will get plenty of access to both David Burren and Michael Snedic.
I (David) am an Adobe Certified Expert. We won’t only be developing/processing photos from the zoo shoot: I will be showing you ways Lightroom can help you organise and manage your photos, both in terms of handling one shoot and in managing them in a larger library. I’ve arranged the program so you’re not just being told what Lightroom can do: you’ll actually be doing it and practicing.
The workshop announcement was initially made through Michael’s mailing list, and we filled most of the places through that immediately. But we still have a couple of places available so if you’re going to be in the Brisbane area that weekend, please get in touch ASAP via the form below. The cost for the weekend is $585.
