Heading back to Antarctica

As we mentioned on Facebook/etc in February, we’re going back to Antarctica with another group of photographers in late 2017. We’ve been working on the plans ever since we came back from our January Antarctica photo workshop. In December 2016 we’re heading back to subantarctic islands (south of New Zealand) but some people really want to go to Antarctica itself. So the following season we’re off to the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the Antarctic Peninsula!

We’re still waiting on some final scheduling details from our ship operator, but I’m pleased to announce that we now have a page up with some more information. The trip will start in mid-November 2017. It’s another collaboration between LuminOdyssey and WildNature, and like our last Antarctic workshop it will be for a group of 18 photographers, with two professional photographers and tutors (David Burren and Michael Snedic) guiding throughout the trip.

Please have a look at the workshop information page!

You can bookmark that page: it will be fleshed out with more information as it becomes available. You can also use the form on that page to register your interest in the trip. We already have many names on our pre-register list, and preference will be given to them in order (note that our 2016 Antarctic workshop booked out very quickly).
