This afternoon I had the pleasure of sitting in on the audience at the judging of the 2015 AIPP VPPAs. All the images were assessed as prints by a panel of five judges. It’s always interesting to see the range of work being presented as well as seeing and hearing people’s reactions to them.
Four of my images achieved Silver awards this year! As it turns out, they were all taken in Victoria in the last 6 months.
- A pair of Caspian Terns photographed above Victoria’s Mud Islands.
- Wilson’s Storm Petrels, fishing on the Southern Ocean.
- Straw-necked Ibis and gull interloper
- Royal Albatross
