Workshop news

In late December we announced a 7-day Bird and Nature Photography Odyssey being run in October 2015 on Australia’s Lord Howe Island by myself and Michael Snedic. At the time we put out a call for expressions of interest, as we needed minimum numbers to secure good deals on flights/etc. We were blown away by the response, with a large pool of interested people getting back to us within just a few days, and everyone was added to a waitlist. Recently we’ve been ready to announce the details of price/dates/etc. Well, those are now up on the trip page, but the trip is already booked out from the waitlist!

Sooty TernLord Howe Island is a natural paradise, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with another set of photographers. At the same time I’m sad that some people on the list were not able to get in early enough to secure a place, but if there are any cancellations those folks will be the first to hear about them. We are looking to repeat this workshop in 2016 (exact dates to be announced).

I’m very excited to be announcing that my first joint-venture with Michael Snedic booked out so quickly! It bodes well for our future joint workshops (we have a few more in the pipeline). If you’d like to get onto the waitlist for our 2015 Lord Howe Island workshop (or to get in early on the list for 2016) head on over to our contact form and let us know. There’s no commitment required to do that: you’re just registering your interest.

In the meantime we’ve also been preparing information for some smaller 2015 workshops, along with our first 2016 workshop. That one’s even more exciting! Watch this space…
